Love, Daddy is my film about becoming a father. The goal of the project was to work closely with my kids so that their fingerprint was left on the frame.

The film is based on a letter written from me to my kids. We decided that the best way to show that would be to have one of them read it and be recorded. This is my son, Gavin, at one of our early recording sessions going through the script.

I also had my kids do different textures for me that could potentially be used during the coloring process. To create the backgrounds in the film, I had them roll on construction paper. I was able to take the papers, scan them in, and then place them in the film as needed.

The film is currently being colored with hopes to be finished by the end of 2022. Here are a few photos of the kids coloring their own frame.
